She is an acknowledged authority in library and research activities. She had her secondary education at St. Louis Grammar School, Ibadan between 1971 and 1976. She proceeded to the Polytechnic, Ibadan for her Advanced Level Studies, and later gained admission to the University of Ibadan where she bagged B.A (Hons) History in 1981 and M. A. in Library Studies in 1983. She is at present pursuing her P.hD at the Lead City University, Ibadan.

Began her professional career as a Librarian at the then Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ago-Iwoye on 2nd January, 1984 and has since then held various positions as a Librarian in the University among as Head, Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences (OACHS) Library, Sagamu, head the University Law Library for 18years, Acting College Librarian, Federal College of Education, Osiele, Deputy University Librarian, Olabisi Onabanjo University from October, 2005 and Acting Librarian, Olabisi Onabanjo University, since 2007.

Mrs. Oyesiku, a member of many professional Associations, has served the University on various developmental committees. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Library and Information Science and an Associate Editor, International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research.
